I picked up one of these for a pretty decent price or at least I think it was. Im getting into this hobby a little bit and race at an indoor carpet track close to home. I bought it to run the Vintage T/A class we have there. This is my second Tamiya car ive owned and just wanted some input on them Thanks

The TB-02R is a very good beginner car. You get a lot of optional parts, for a cheap price. What is the motor you will be using in your class? The diffs of the TB-02 always seemed to be a weak point for many, but if you are running a mild motor like silvercans, or stock motors, this should not be a problem for you.

They leave the motor choice pretty open the one that came in the car is susposed to be a 19T Mod brushed motor.

With a motor like that, it is going to be important to keep some spare diff parts on hand, and perform regular diff checking to ensure that everything is staying tight and together.if you do that, it should not be a problem.
