View Full Version : Tamiya TA02 rally car

Hello everyone

I restored and updated a TA02 chassis, and converted it into a rally car. I used TT-01 large bevel gears (two gear diffs used) along with M05 gear box joints, to handle a brushless motor setup. I found a heavy-duty Tamiya TA02 prop shaft, and it has a full set of Acer Racing Telfasonic bearings installed.

The body is the Tamiya Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X, painted in the likeness of the old skool Rothman's Porsche 959.

I only have a smartphone camera, and it has no zoom (sorry), and I was making the video solo. I'm planning on having my friend be the cameraman for another video.
