I have a Ballistic 17.5 and they sugest a 4.0 FDR, my current ratio is 64/22 x 2.438 = 7.09.
What pitch gears do I need, 48 or what? and are my calculations correct?
Thank you!

If anyone knows the transmission ratio for the tb-03 please let me know, I can't find it listed anywhere.

This is located on page 17 in the upper left hand corner of the instruction manual. To get the FDR, the equation is (Spur/Pinion) x 2.438 and that will give you your gear radio. The internal ratio (IDR) is 2.438.
See the attached image for the gearing information from the manual.

Why can't I open the attached image?

according same post in other forum it seems that somebody is using a spur 78 tooth/pitch 64 and pinion up to 53 tooth.
I'm going to order a spur of 88 tooth, and using a 51 tooth pinion i'll be able to obtain 4,20 fdr, still to short comparing to other guys that at my local club track are racing with a fdr 3.5 with 17,5T motor :(

One question for Akuntze, is possible modify the IDR?, i mean can we reduce such orrible idr of 2,438 to 1,80 or something like that?

The IDR is fixed with the ring and pinion gears. You can only change your gear ratio with the pinion and spur, but are unable to change the IDR.
