Hello Guys,

I open these Thread just to talk about the M06 car (not exist yet).
How you think these new Tamiya mini should be?

For me, at last must has a short wheelbase.

And you? which his opinion?

Best regards,

It should either be AWD or RWD. It should NOT be FWD. It should have adjustible wheelbase too.

I'm quite happy with the M04. I think they should just keep making parts for it.

I think they should just keep making parts for the M04. Mine works awesome.

If they do make an M06, just make it another rear wheel drive.

I really like the M04 project. Its simple and works fine.
Steering system works fine, like the M03.
The old M01/02 and now the M05 is too bad these system.

I Just hope tamiya release a RWD car with short version, and may be use the steering servo low, like the Formula cars.

Outch! I was forgetting, if possible make the battery place universal, to use with "boxed" lipo hardcases.

Best regards

I like the idea of ajusting the wheel base, something like on a sliding scale like a teliscope than when you find what wheel base you want than lock it in place with a pin or screw

I'm really happy with my M04 too, but if Tamiya makes a M06 with adjustible wheelbase I'd probaly get one of those because I like buying different bodies to fit on a single chassis. Also this hypothetical M06 should have parts that are interchangeable with some of the M cars for example suspension arms, front bumper, C hubs, rear uprights, steering knuckles etc. Only the chassis and gearcase should be changed/improved with the addition of the variable wheelbase and the new M05 ball diff. The M03/M04 cannot use the new M05 ball diff so the M06 should have a new gearcase to fit the new M05 ball diff.

The use of same gearbox of M05 is a good idea.
Other cool stuff is the free roles for use more pinions tooths. Is too bad use only 3 pinions options. But i think that is very difficult to Tamiya do, because since M01 the minis has only 3 options of pinions.

The M06 should definitely be a RWD car. There are M05's that are coming out with a 280z and S800 body. These cars are RWD cars and should be on a RWD chassis.

As for layout, they definitely need get away from the current space frame chassis and go with a tub like the TA05 / TT01 cars. HPIs Cup Racer, ABC Hobbies are all double deck chassis with adjustable track width and suspension.

So the M06 should be a considerable advancement in this category.

I think a updated M-04 would be good.
I have a couple of M-03s and they are a blast. I might get a M-05 in a while.
I see guys that run the M-04 but are struggling to get it to handle as well as the M-03.
I think Tamiya can do it.

I also think that it should be RWD. An AWD version might be nice too though.
I like the idea of interchangeable parts with some of the other "M" chassis cars.

Looks like Tamiya is going to re-lease an M06 Pro in the winter season.

What will it be? A new RWD chassis? Hmm :Tamiya1:

Would love to see a "reversible" chassis that could accomodate FWD or RWD out of the box.

Raman70

It would easily be done..

I'd like to see an M06 that's either an enlarged GT01 or an F104 Pro with adjustable suspension / gear box.

That Alpine should be on a RWD chassis, as well as the old Abarth and 240Z.

I am sure he would not blame you, but sadly there are people in other parts of the world who could stand to learn patience and not release information until it an be released.

Tamiya could release this chassis with a rear engine body car.
Cars like: Renault Alpine, Porsche, Chevrolet Corvair, Sinca...
