Cool! My top 5 reissues would be:
1. 1/12 Rothmans or Newman Porsche 956
2. 1/10 Nissan R91CP
3. 1/10 PIAA or Taisan Porsche 911 GT2
4. 1/10 Lancia 037 Rally or Audi Quattro or Opel Ascona (in original goofy big-tire rally-guise or as a TT01, doesn't matter to me)
5. 1/12 Celica Grp B (preferred) or Porsche 959
I would love for Tamiya to bring out the Subaru WRC 97' Body that was on the TG10 etc.

I have a request/suggestion that sort of follows the spirit of this thread.
Probably wishful thinking, but Tamiya should make smaller diameter "vintage" size wheels and corresponding high-profile tires for any upcoming releases of non-current cars. Cars like the Lancia 037, the Lambo Countach, etc, that never ran on wheels and tires as low-profile as what you see today. Having period-correct sized wheels would really improve scale appearance of cars that ran 14-15" wheels as opposed to the 18-19" that current standard touring car wheels represent. And the wheels and tires themselves would probably sell well as spare parts for all the previously-released old-school cars that came on standard touring car wheels.
Another wheel-related request: please re release the 53131 Nissan Skyline GTR Alloy BBS Mesh Wheels. I would love a set to put under an E30 M3.

But as an M05? Why FWD? Also why the Datsun 280Z as an FWD? Tamiya should release and updated M04 chassis and put these bodies on it for scale realism.

TGX On-road series to compete with the Inferno GT & Ofna etc. in the 1/8 class
Tamiya definitely needs to release an 1/8 scale car to compete with the Inferno GT and Ofna DM1. Current 1/8 scale GT cars have a wheelbase between 320 mm to 360 mm. Since Tamiya does not offer, I was forced to go with a Kyosho. Having owned both the Inferno GT (320 mm) and Inferno GT2 (360 mm), I recommend the longer chassis, because it improves engine layout and high speed handling
Tamiya already has the foundation for this class with the TRF801. Use a lower grade 801XT chassis for 360 mm wheelbase, the rest of the parts can come from 801X buggy substituting lower cost aluminium for the TRF blue.. a 2 shoe 2 speed and chassis is done. Stamp out a few bodies and start stealing Kyoshos customers :-) :Tamiya1:
If they prefer to revive the TGX/TGR, then I recommend increasing chassis size to 360 mm, this way there will be more room to install a .21 motor. Motor should also sit facing forward on the left hand side that way you're not limited in tuned pipe selection.
I agree about release a 1/8.. but not GP.
All brands releases EP conversion kits for they 1/8 cars.
I think a project born for those new big brushless motor will take advantage against the conversions one.

The problem with 1/8 scale Electric is that the battery technology is not there to support it. 10 minute run times from 6 cell LiPo that costs $200 each is not cost effective.
Now if both version are available fine, however GP is a necessity for this class.

I agree:Tamiya1:
58456 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Super Trofeo (TA05 Ver.2) is looking nice!
